Empowering women by creating awareness

Empowering women is to give her equal rights. Women can have an equal right to participate in education, society, economy and politics.

It is important for women self-esteem and also for society. Empowerment is the degree of autonomy and self determination in people and communities.

The three most essentials considered for empowerment are; Learning, Labour and Leadership.

Women from rural area are to be addressed. Due to lack of awareness and illiteracy, they are suffering the most. They consider themselves as not equal to a man, they bare hardships and atrocities of the man of their house. They were treated as ill. This needs to be eradicated from society.

When they were told about their rights, this was a joke to them. They all are bearing atrocities knowingly it is wrong. Here what can do others? Education to a girl is secondary in rural areas due to lack of awareness. Education is only a way to empower women. Education of women will play the most important role in human society.

For the rights of women, we have to aware of the man too. If he cannot understand as a husband, then as a father, son or brother concerning his daughter, mother and sister, I hope they will understand. A man can hate women as a woman as a wife, but not as his mother. We have to change our way of thinking.

A nation can not progress without a woman. We have to empower a woman in order to succeed. We have to work for the stoppage of atrocities on women from society.

The Universal Declaration of Human Rights states that everyone has the right to participate in the Government of his/her country. The empowerment and autonomy of women and the improvement of women’s social, economic and political status are essential for achieving both transparent and accountable government and administration and sustainable development in all areas of life. The power relations that prevent women from leading fulfilling lives operate at many levels of society, from the most personal to the highly public. Achieving the goal of equal participation of women and men in decision-making will provide a balance that more accurately reflects society's composition and is needed to strengthen democracy and promote its proper functioning. Equality in political decision-making performs a leverage function without doubtful that a real integration of the equality dimension in government policy-making is feasible.

Hope for the best.
